Patricia Alejandra Zuniga Muñoz, MD
Board-certified dermatologist specializing in clinical, cosmetic, and pediatric dermatology. Based in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, where she leads DERCLÍNIC, a comprehensive dermatology practice. Listed in the SOHDERMA national directory of certified dermatologists. Active congress presenter with international presentations including the XXVII Congreso Centroamericano y del Caribe de Dermatología (ASCODE) in Costa Rica, presenting research on superficial mycoses and dermatologic case reports. Expertise includes adult and pediatric skin pathologies, cosmetic and corrective dermatology, laser treatments, and dermopigmentation. Member of the Sociedad Hondureña de Dermatología.
Laura Beatriz Vargas Rivas, MD
Board-certified dermatologist and plastic surgery specialist practicing in San Salvador, El Salvador. Provides comprehensive dermatological and cosmetic services in the San Salvador metropolitan area. Active member of the El Salvador medical community with clinical expertise in both medical dermatology and aesthetic procedures. Engaged in advancing dermatological care and clinical research opportunities in Central America through collaborative partnerships.

Daisy Margarita Blanco, MD
Board-certified dermatologist and specialist i n pediatric dermatology, Dra. Daisy Margarita Blanco serves as Head of the Pediatric Dermatology Service at the Instituto Dermatológico y Cirugía de Piel Dr. Huberto Bogaert Díaz (IDCP) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – the leading dermatology institution in the country. In this role, she oversees a high-volume service that sees 200 to 300 pediatric patients daily, addressing conditions ranging from common childhood skin disorders to complex and rare dermatologic diseases. Dra. Blanco’s clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum o f pediatric skin conditions, including inflammatory dermatoses, fungal and infectious skin diseases, and congenital and rare disorders. She has contributed to published case reports in the dermatologic literature and is a recognized authority on pediatric dermatology in the Dominican Republic. She regularly advises parents and primary care providers on early identification and appropriate management of pediatric skin conditions and has participated in public health education initiatives through the IDCP. She is a member of the Sociedad Dominicana de Dermatología (SDD).
Solange Reynoso Castro, MD
Dra. Reynoso is affiliated with IDCP i n Santiago and focuses on the management o f complex inflammatory dermatoses, including psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and atopic dermatitis. Her clinical and academic interests include clinical and integrative dermatology, as well as autoimmune and immunomodulated skin diseases. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), Sociedad Dominicana de Dermatología (SDD), and Colegio Ibero-Latinoamericano de Dermatología (CILAD), and regularly participates as a faculty speaker at national and international dermatology meetings.
David A. Rodriguez, MD
Board-certified dermatologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, David A. Rodriguez, M.D. brings more than 40 years of clinical and research experience to the Precefi network. Dr. Rodriguez earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and completed a n internship and internal medicine residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center before pursuing a second residency in dermatology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. During his senior year of medical school, he was awarded the prestigious Adolph J. Rosenberg Award for research in dermatology. As Medical Director of Dermatology Associates & Research and a certified clinical trial investigator, Dr. Rodriguez has participated as an active investigator in more than 100 clinical trials across acne, psoriasis, rosace, atopic dermatitis, and tinea infections, among others. He is a staff physician at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami and is a contributing editor of the textbook Treatments for Skin of Color. A recognized expert in dermatologic conditions affecting ethnic skin populations, Dr. Rodriguez has presented at the World Congress of Dermatology and the AAD Annual Meeting and has been featured in the New York Times and on NBC’s “America’s Ethnic Skin: An Al Roker Health Special.” He is a member of the American Academy o f Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.
Nelly Georgina Paz, MD
She earned her Medical Degree from the National Autonomous University of Honduras and later completed her Residency in Dermatology at Hospital Lariboisière Saint Louis in Paris, France. During her time in France, she also completed specialized courses in Leprology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases. In addition, she pursued advanced training in cosmetic surgery and liposuction techniques, strengthening her comprehensive approach to both clinical and aesthetic dermatology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Paz has actively participated in international dermatology and aesthetic surgery congresses in cities such as Miami, Paris, Guadalajara, San Salvador, and Costa Rica. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Esthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.
She has served as a Dermatologist and Principal Investigator (PI) in clinical trials at Clínica Dra. Nelly Paz, located at Hospital y Clínica Bendaña in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Earlier in her career, she practiced at Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital and Leonardo Martínez Valenzuela Hospital, where she began her medical training as a surgical resident and later worked as a dermatologist.
Her clinical research portfolio includes numerous studies in acne, atopic dermatitis, skin infections, fungal infections (tinea), psoriasis, hypertrophic scars, radiation dermatitis, vaccines, and other dermatologic conditions. This extensive experience has positioned her as a leading figure in dermatological research in the region.

Jorge Alberto López González, MD
Board-certified dermatologist, venereologist, and dermatologic surgeon, Dr. Jorge Alberto López González practices at Hospital Bendaña in San Pedro Sula, Honduras – one of the region’s leading private medical centers. His clinical expertise spans medical dermatology, venereology, and dermatologic surgery, with a broad scope of practice covering skin, hair, and nail conditions in adult and pediatric patients. Dr. López González is a member of the Sociedad Hondureña de Dermatología y Cirugía Dermatológica (SOHDERMA), Honduras’s national dermatology society, reflecting his commitment to professional standards and continuing medical education in the specialty. His clinical scope includes diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, skin cancers, inflammatory dermatoses, and cosmetic dermatology procedures including dermatoscopy. Hospital Bendaña’s dermatology service provides Dr. López González’s patients with access to modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure across the northern Honduras region.
